Alexa Chung- My Fashion Icon

Hello hello,
Today i had the chance to sit back in my comfy, snuggly clothes in this cloudy, windy weather and spend my day on Tumblr admiring all of Alexa Chung's outfits. This is why i love holidays as i am able to spend my days doing what i love most, being inspired by different fashions and styles. I once read a saying that goes likes this, "Fashions fade, style is eternal". I am very much for this saying because yes, 'fashions' do come and go as new trends replace the old but 'style' represents who we are and what's better than just being ourselves?
In Alexa Chung's case who is a British model, TV presenter and a fashion icon, she does wear the latest fashion trends but there is never a day that goes by that she doesn't show off her quirkiness and elegance through her own, unique style.

I have to say that Alexa Chung is one of my biggest inspirations when it comes to fashion. The clothing she mixes and matches together to create an eye-catching outfit, is out of this world. I love how she sees clothing more than just material that covers your body, the way she experiments with it tells us that she sees at as something special to her.

I found it very hard to narrow it down to my favourite outfits of hers so here is some, well a lot of outfits that i find the most intriguing and jaw-dropping. 
Love the different tones of blue.

Fav Outfits From Coachella

So last weekend i was sitting at home crying over the fact that i wasn't at Coachella.I kept on refreshing my instagram page to stay updated on all the new photos that people were posting, well more like what CELEBRITIES were posting.

UGH, who would of ever thought that so many amazing celebrities would be at the same place at the same time. Just imagine going to a festival and standing beside Leonardo Dicaprio whilst dancing to Beyonce and her sister.... i would hyperventilate, who am i kidding, i would faint!!!!

Yeah look, i don't have 500 dollars or what ever it costs to pay for a ticket or even have the money to fly to America but how unreal would it be to party for three whole days with all famous people in your sight. 

It wasn't only who was at Coachella that i cared about but i couldn't help admire the outfits that some of them wore. Whilst i was home in my pjs they were experimenting with clothes, putting together fun and quirky outfits for the long weekend ahead of them. 

It was beyond the bounds of possibility to not envy some of the outfits that the celebrities wore.

How To Keep Your Body Healthy

Doesn't it feel amazing to have a healthy and lean figure? 
Well, by not eating, you aren't going to achieve that healthy and lean figure. it isn't good to skip meals or go on random diets as weight loss is only sufficient if your metabolism is functioning properly. 

To gain a healthy body or maintain a healthy body, you need to have small, healthy and well balanced meals so that your body can take in enough energy to burn. 

In an every day eating plan try to eat some protein, small amount of carbs, a little of functional fat and bit of natural sugars. 

I know it is hard for all of us to say no to snacks after dinner time when we are sitting on the couch watching our TV shows or sitting at our desk 'trying' to study but as much as it tastes delicious, it is not good for you. Your body slows down at night as it is time for rest, therefore all the calories that have entered the body will burn at a much slower rate than usual. 

DO NOT MISS BREAKFAST! 
I actually don't even understand how some people don't eat breakfast... like aren't you hungry? I will wake up hungry and want to eat straight after i get out of bed. 
As we all know "breakfast is the most important meal of the day". It is good to eat savoury, high protein  breakfast as it kicks start our metabolism and leaves us fuller for longer.

I do not exercise much anymore, well actually i NEVER exercise anymore but when i did , i felt healthier and happier. Without exercise, you will not get your metabolic rate happening. 
Commit to exercises that you enjoy doing so that your mind wont turn off and stop you from committing to exercise.
METABOLIC BOOSTING HELPERS-
  • Drinking water speeds up weight loss and boosts your metabolism. 
  • Ginger increases metabolic rate, which helps break down fatty foods.
  • Have at least three green teas a day as it contains antioxidants. Consuming antioxidants means you will have a faster metabolism and have stronger skin cells. 
  • Oats are a good way to start your day as it makes you full easily and supplies you with energy, which is good for weight loss. 
  •  have apple cider vinegar before meals as it increases your metabolism and burns body fat. 
  • Apples contain fibre in which makes you full easily so it is good to have apples before meals or even when your craving sugar because the sweetness of the apples can satisfy your sugar cravings. 
It can be hard to eat all these foods and exercise regularly,even i don't do it anymore but if your someone who really wants to change their eating habits or wants to be healthier, then i recommend following some of these tips :)
